If you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community in Northwest Arkansas or the surrounding region, we’d love for you to participate. Please share this with friends, family, and community members—every response helps us build a more connected, supported, and thriving LGBTQIA+ community. 🌈

There are still people who believe the answer is to make others feel smaller so they can feel more comfortable.
We believe the opposite.
The world becomes better when people are free to live authentically, love openly, create boldly, and find joy without apology.
Our hope is that you feel seen. That you feel heard. That you remember you are worthy of love, belonging, and kindness.
Your light doesn’t take away from anyone else’s. It makes this world brighter.
That is a non negotiable queen.💅🌈💛
We love you 🥰

In a state that has passed some of the nation’s most anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation. In a City where, just six years ago, a Confederate statue stood in the middle of a town square. In a state where too many leaders have worked to erase our stories and repeatedly target the trans community.
What gives us hope is this: we still come together.
We create art. We reconnect with our inner child. We build lasting connections. We celebrate queer joy.
That’s the heart of Queer Craft Corner.
Our mission is to create a safe and healing environment that encourages love, connection, and creativity through arts and crafts. Every gathering is a reminder that our community is resilient, worthy, and beautiful.
Help us continue creating spaces where every LGBTQIA+ person can belong.

I am so incredibly honored to have achieved our very first grant as a team. The Queer Craft corner board has put a lot of effort to make this possible. I am so proud of our board members , an amazing collective of unique and vibrant humans. Thank you for the privilege of being able to except this award on behalf of our community. @weavingnwa

This is the story behind The Float. 💕💅
We wanted to create a Pride parade float that showcased how much we love our community. Instead of buying new materials, we repurposed what we already loved. The tablecloths lining the float once dressed the tables at Pizzeria Ruby where families, friends, and queer folks gathered for meals. I kept them, knowing one day they’d be part of something bigger. The Pride bunting once hung outside the pizzeria Ruby building, but when a stranger objected, Meredith, the owner, moved it inside, keeping it up all year as a beacon of love. We added it proudly to the float. We flew three flags , lesbian, all-queer, and trans, making sure every part of our community was seen. And at the back, a drawing by Kate the Illustrator , an illustration you’ll also see on the Pizzeria Ruby Pride tees, with proceeds going to NWA Equality. Even those inflatable pool toys were repurposed from Pizza Lottie’s marketing. This float was a testament to our shared past, present, and future. 🌈💫 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 we love you NWA 💜

A huge thank you to our friend along the Pride parade route for capturing this beautiful photo of the Queer Craft Corner team and our community-made banner. 💖
This banner was created by so many hands at our booth. Thank you to everyone who painted, drew, cheered, and celebrated with us. 🌈✨🏳️⚧️
@be.good.photo you are so talented !!!

True to the heart of Queer Craft Corner, we turned our parade banner into a community canvas. We invited everyone to paint, draw, and leave their mark on the banner we’ll proudly carry in today’s parade. Every brushstroke is a reminder that Pride is something we create together.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. Your contribution made a difference, and we’re so grateful you chose to spread love, creativity, and community with us. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈🎨💜
Trans March was a blast! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to make signs with us and show up for our community. It was an honor to stand alongside Northwest Arkansas’s trans community. Every person deserves to be seen, respected, celebrated, and safe. We will continue to create spaces where trans people are welcomed, affirmed, and loved exactly as they are. Thank you to everyone who marched, cheered, crafted, and showed up with courage and compassion. Together, we are building a community where everyone belongs. Trans lives are human rights. ✨. 🏳️⚧️💙💜💕🌟
