Queer Craft Corner is coming to Haunted Hogeye for a night of 🎃 , prizes, popcorn🍿 ,and drag queens 💅 fighting vampires.🧛 Join us on October 16th at 6 PM and bring your own pumpkin. We’ll provide carving tools, gems, stencils, and paint for anyone who wants to decorate without carving. Once your masterpiece is finished, submit it to the Pumpkin Contest for a chance to win a prize. Then grab your popcorn 🍿 and settle in for SLAY, a horror comedy about four drag queens who get trapped in a redneck biker bar and have to team up with the patrons to fight off a growing number of vampires. We’ve chosen to give back a portion of the money we earn from our paid gigs at Queer Craft Corner to support other community efforts. True to who we are, we believe in showing up for the community around us and sharing what we can. 💕 We are so excited to have donated $100 to Perrodin Supply Co. to help support the expenses of the Spring Creek Art Show. 🅿️ You can also park down by Dixon Street for free and enjoy a scenic 10-minute walk over to Moxy. Accessibility: ♿ Moxy is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking and elevators for easy access. 🎶 Light music will be playing throughout the event, and there will also be an outdoor area available for anyone who prefers a quieter experience. 🎟️ Tickets are free! When the world is fighting to erase an entire population of vibrant people from history, choosing to live authentically becomes an act of courage. Asking someone to shrink themselves so others can feel more comfortable is not kindness. Not understanding why someone lives their life authentically is never an excuse to meet them with hate. I feel rich in life because I get to watch artists and craftspeople thrive throughout Northwest Arkansas. Seeing joy on full display through colorful pop up events, sidewalk chalk art, dog toy making workshops, and happy puppies is a reminder of how powerful community can be. The best part?
